Concert Band
When beginning students reach a performance level proficient enough to perform in a larger mixed instrumental group, the music specialist will offer them an opportunity to try out for Band. This usually involves learning a couple of pieces that are currently being rehearsed for the Spring Concert. Students may audition each and every week until success is achieved.
A weekly rehearsal of 30-40 minutes, in addition to the small group lesson, is scheduled for Band at each of the three elementary schools.
